Great work on the social justice week resources!
A game you might want to consider trying that I thought I would use with the students at Marian College next week is… http://www.foodforce2.com/ it looks at the distribution of food bu the UN
And one of their favourites is garbage dreams http://www.gamesforchange.org/play/the-garbage-dreams-game/
Although its more about recycling it really does make them think about the food they waste and how everything should be used

Very lively website. Captured my interest. Great to see plans in motion to address where predicted areas of need are going to be. That’s great forward thinking. Very sad to see the suffering of people around the world. Makes me feel grateful for what we have – a privileged life in Aotearoa
